WEEK OF OCT. 20 - OCT. 24
District Update on Strategic Plan

Summit Public Schools is proud to officially launch Year One of our Five-Year Strategic Plan, a collective roadmap shaped by our community and grounded in a commitment to student success. This plan outlines our values, vision, and mission, along with the goals, objectives, and strategies that will move us from vision to action.

Year One marks the beginning of a focused effort to bring our shared aspirations to life by strengthening connections across our schools, deepening learning opportunities for every student, and ensuring that our decisions reflect the values we hold in common.

We invite all families, staff, and community members to take a few moments to click on and read the full Year One plan below. This plan is also translated into Spanish, which is available to view on our Strategic Planning webpage.

By understanding and engaging with our shared direction, you become an active part of our investment in every student’s success. We are grateful to everyone who contributed their time, ideas, and perspectives to this important process. Together, we are building a stronger future for all Summit students.

Staff Appreciation Committee Needs Help With Halloween Event

Our awesome Staff Appreciation Committee plans to sweeten the day for SHS staff on Monday, Oct. 27, and they need YOUR help! If you can bring in a sweet treat, please sign up here.

Let's show the staff some TREATS, not TRICKS, this Halloween season!

Don't Forget to Pay Your PTO Dues

We get it, the beginning of the school year is CRAZY, and there is a TON going on. If you haven't had a chance to pay PTO dues or make a donation yet, please consider helping us out now by donating.

100% of this money goes right back into our school and towards your children, our staff, and towards creating enrichment opportunities throughout the year. AND donations are tax deductible!

Some businesses and corporations will match donations, too, so don't forget about that.

We really rely on you to help, so please consider paying dues or making a donation today. We know we're so lucky to have such a generous community. THANK YOU!
