If your child did not receive a letter indicating that they qualified for an AP or Honors class but would like to petition to take those classes, a reminder that those petitions are due by Friday, March 22.

Save the date of Wedesday, April 10 for a district-wide Wellness Symposium, which takes place at 6 pm at the high school. The evening will include FREE dinner and babysitting followed by discussions of how we can support our students and families in their mental well-being. There will be breakout sessions on specific topics.

Got used formal attire? The United Methodist Church of Summit is collecting items to be part of a FREE prom shop in April. Donations can be dropped off at the church office at 17 Kent Place Blvd.

If you missed our last general PTO meeting, the bulk of the meeting was an introduction to the District-Wide Wellness Symposium by Doreen Babis and Laura Kaplan.

Superintendent Hough also mentioned that the district will be looking for high school volunteers for a training exercise to take place this spring. Mrs. Grimaldi will send out more information regarding that later once a date has been confirmed.
